This is the narrow 3.75" Broad Hoe. Slightly rounded edges allow you to get close to crops without damaging them. Made entirely of stainless steel.
Conor Crickmore — "I think the broad hoes, narrow and wide, work best as a set. I just hated having to carry both around. The Mutineer solves this."
The user stands straight, using a thumbs-up grip, while a sharp, thin blade rides flat and broad with the soil surface, slicing off weeds without throwing soil onto nearby seedlings. The ergonomic design makes weeding surprisingly enjoyable and is especially effective in and around low-lying crops such as head lettuce.
REQUIRED FOR USE
Mutineer Interchangeable Hoe for Long Handle and Wooden Long Handle - Light — Required and sold separately.
The Mutineer hoe was developed by Conor Crickmore.
The invention and manufacture of the mutineer gave farmers access, for the first time, to a hoe that quickly and easily switches between these precision cultivating heads - colinears, wire weeders, multi-row toolbar and torsions.
You need only one handle while carrying multiple light heads with you into the field.
Wire Weeders are a fast and efficient cultivating tool that is safe to use next to seedlings and in tight rows. There is Triad wire weeder mutineer head for every situation. Wire weeders are for loose friable soil to cultivate thread stage weeds.
Note - Any steel wire is broken by repeatedly forcing it to bend in alternating directions. If you avoid bending, the stainless steel wire will last a lifetime.

I first made a crude wire weeder to test it out. Once I saw how well it would work, decided to order the Perfectionist. Very well made, and am really pleased with the attachments!
I purchased this tool as a gift for a friend because it is on my wish list.
