Paper Chain Pots are the 264-cell transplanting chains used throughout the Paperpot System.
One Paper Chain Pot opens to fill one 264-cell Paperpot tray. The three versions use the same 264-cell layout but provide different spacing between plants after transplanting.

Paperpot Frequently Asked Questions
The 2-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch options refer to the spacing between plants after transplanting. They use different paper-chain lengths, but each chain still contains 264 cells.
Yes. The 2-inch CP303F, 4-inch LP303-10, and 6-inch LP303-15 Paper Chain Pots all use the same 264-cell format. The spacing changes after the chain is pulled out in the field.
Yes. The Subversive Paperpot Transplanter is compatible with the 2-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch Paper Chain Pot options.
The core workflow uses Paper Chain Pots, Paperpot germination trays, a Paperpot Stretcher Frame, Opening Rods, and a compatible Paperpot transplanter. A Paperpot Dibble Board and other accessories can make seeding and transplanting faster, but the exact setup depends on how much you are planting.
The Stretcher Frame opens and stretches a compressed Paper Chain Pot so it can be placed into a germination tray and filled with soil for seeding.
The Opening Rods hold the stretched Paper Chain Pot open while it is positioned in the germination tray. They work with the Stretcher Frame as part of the chain-opening process.
Yes. The Paperpot Dibble Board creates planting dimples across the 264-cell tray layout and can be used with the 2-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch Paper Chain Pot options.
Yes. Paperpot Solid Universal Bottom Trays can be used beneath compatible germination trays for bottom watering and water containment.
The Paperpot Stack and Nest Germination Tray is compatible with a humidity dome. The Solid Universal Bottom Tray is not designed for use with the dome.
The Basic, Essentials, and Max Production kits are built around the same Paperpot transplanting workflow but include different quantities of trays, Paper Chain Pots, and production accessories. Choose based on how much you plan to transplant and how complete a setup you want from the start.
