Mutineer Interchangeable Hoe

The Mutineer hoe was developed by Conor Crickmore.

The invention and manufacture of the mutineer gave farmers access, for the first time, to a hoe that quickly and easily switches between these precision cultivating heads - colinears, wire weeders, multi-row toolbar and torsions.

You need only one handle while carrying multiple light heads with you into the field.

Wire Hoes / Weeders

Wire Weeders are a fast and efficient cultivating tool that is safe to use next to seedlings and in tight rows. There is a pacifist wire weeder mutineer head for every situation.

Note - Any steel wire is broken by repeatedly forcing it to bend in alternating directions. If you avoid bending, the stainless steel wire will last a lifetime.

Wire Hoe History

The history of any farm tool involves countless Innovative farmers and home inventors. We are very proud to be a part of that history.

Farmers have been developing wire weeders for at least the last 100 years. The first account of an interchangeable wire weeder was Hales in 1917 using a threaded bolt. After which there were dozens of modifications and improvements to that design. Too many to list here.

More recently Rapp created a wire exchange holder using a bolt and cavity in 1958. Notably, Davis patented an offset wire in 1984. Building on that wonderful history Neversink Tools created the Mutineer locking quick exchange wire weeder in 2019 for which we were awarded multiple patents for its novelty.
