Great Broadfork, Great Workout
I have two of the GOAT broadforks. I bought the first one in 2023, and just purchased a second so that my wife and I can fork at the same time.
I have put the GOAT through a lot of abuse in the last two years. I’ve used it on heavy clay soil as well as several rocky areas and the tines are still sharp and straight. I did end up breaking one of the handles, but that’s on me for pushing too hard in heavily compacted soil. I replaced the wooden handles with two 5’ pieces of steel pipe, and now I have a 40 lb beast of a broadfork. With the added weight I barely have to stand on it to fully penetrate most soils.
