The Blaze™ Tank-Mounted Flame Weeder is designed for fast, efficient pre-emergence flaming and stale seedbed preparation on market farms.
The Blaze Flame Blade provides full-bed flame coverage and is designed to work more efficiently than traditional torch-style flame weeders, helping reduce propane use while speeding up bed preparation.
A squeeze valve and high-end adjustable regulator are included as standard equipment.
Propane tank is not included. Recommended tank size is a standard 20 lb BBQ-style propane tank.
Compatible accessories
- Extra Tank Mount Kit — adds a second propane tank to extend run time.
- High Heat Shield — provides additional hose and tank protection when operating at higher heat.
- Cup or Torch Holder — carries a compatible tumbler or the lighting torch.
- Flame Weeder Lighting Torch — butane torch for dependable lighting.
- Manifold Cleaning Rod — for clearing manifold jets if soot buildup occurs.
The Blaze is designed for killing young weeds on prepared growing beds.

Squeeze Valve
Standard equipment. The machined brass valve is equipped with a set-and-forget pilot for easy lighting. Transport with the pilot flame, then depress the lever for full flame. This helps conserve propane and makes operation easier.
Stainless Bed Wheel
The expanded bed wheel makes the flame weeder easy to roll over soil and eliminates the need to hold flame torches above the ground. It maintains the Flame Blade at the proper height. Designed for soil only. Patent pending.
Tank Holder
Made with a stainless-steel base and support, a super-heavy-duty custom doubled bungee, and stainless hardware. An optional two-tank setup is available.
Flat Free Tires
Rubber-grip, flat-free tires are fitted with ABS rims, stainless bearings, and a stainless axle for long service life.
Stainless Flame Blade
Effective and efficient blade made of heavy-duty stainless steel. Lights easily and stays lit even in the wind. Patent pending.
Quick Handle Adjustment
Aluminum hand lever with stainless steel mechanism to easily change handle height in the field without tools.

Easy to Transport
Large transport wheels make it effortless to transport The Blaze around the farm. Transport wheels are indestructible ABS with stainless steel bearings and axle. When combined with the stainless steel bed flame blade wheel, you are ensured convenient transport and blade flame height consistency. Patent pending.
Four Times More Effective
Unlike traditional flame weeders which just duplicate bell torches, the Flame Blade has a consistent burn across the entire bed. This means that no weeds are left behind and the burner does not need to run at soaring temperatures to try to bridge the gaps between torches.
Easy to Light and Wind Resistant
Once you set the adjustable regulator, lighting is simple. The Flame Blade is wind-resistant and stays lit even in gusty conditions.
Standard Feature
Squeeze Valve
The only Flame Weeder with a squeeze valve as a standard feature. This valve enables you to light and transport the flame weeder with a low adjustable pilot flame. When the handle is depressed, your regulator flame setting is then fully engaged. A squeeze valve is safer and also more efficient.

High Heat Shield
While we recommend keeping flame height low, we offer an optional heat shield for higher-heat operation. It provides additional protection for the hose and propane tank while using the Blaze Tank-Mounted Flame Weeder.

Will not Hurt the Soil Life
Soil is an excellent insulator so flaming does not affect the life within your soil. Flaming to control weeds is the choice at Neversink rather than plastic mulch.

You can set the cradle and Flame Blade to match the height of your bed.
Will not kill mature grass
Perfect for Growing Beds
Flame weeders are designed to kill young weeds in farm rows and garden beds. They do not penetrate the soil to kill roots and are therefore ineffective on established plants. Attempting to use a flame weeder this way wastes propane, can damage the tool, and the weeds will grow back.
