These are a game changer for me! They hold up to our ferocious winds. They withstood 50 mph gusts yesterday. I had given up on using low tunnels, but these are making it possible again.
Margie from California
LowCat Tunnel has performed beautifully for us here on the farm!! Our baby cabbage plants are thriving despite last nights wind-gust of 60+ MPH!

It really is SO easy. I had someone helping but I could have done it myself. They look great and are brilliantly designed.

With the consistent 45 mph gusts today, we're pretty impressed with these Neversink Farm Tools lowcat tunnels!!

I have these and used them this spring and early summer and they are great! Have some with shade cloth on my turmeric and ginger for the summer.

We use these ... for cut flowers. We get very windy in the spring... these LowCats have held up better than anything we tried. Definitely worth the cost.

Long Term Testing
We setup a LowCat at the farm. Filmed it for one year so far. Through wind storms, rain and blizzards, it was unaffected.
Uprights are made of high carbon, high tensile, thick, 3 gauge (6mm), spring steel with zinc coating. Arches are High Tensile, Stainless Steel for a lifetime of use without rust.
LowCats are affordable because you are buying straight from the manufacturer, which is us.
Designed for the High Production Market Farm
Hands Free
No bulky hoops to carry. Store and organize hundreds of hoops on a wall.
Coverings can be combined and layered.
Low tunnels fail when wind is allowed to enter. Wind resistance is directly related to the tightness of the covering and your setup, the covering you choose, and the distance between hoops.
Other low tunnels require regular stretching of covering from the ends which is difficult and inconvenient.
The unique feature of the LowCats Shock Cord means that the covering stays tight without intervention.
This results in a better look, easier setup, and much greater wind resistance.
While low tunnels have their limits, the LowCat has the highest wind protection of them all.
The Arch of any field tunnel is exposed to wear and the elements. The LowCat is the only one made of stainless steel.
Over wintering
For best results when overwintering, we recommend Heavy Duty Poly and not to use risers. Also 4’ between hoops is best and do not stretch hoop widths beyond what is advised in the table above.
If you have different LowCat Models then no worries. Shock cord is easy to tell apart.
