Short-handle stirrup hoe for raised beds, garden beds, and close cultivation. Built with a 17" Tennessee hickory handle that is hand-sanded and protected with tung oil.
Stirrup hoes, sometimes called hula or scuffle hoes, are effective for removing more mature and stubborn weeds. The oscillating blade cuts on both the push and pull stroke.
The hoe comes complete with one blade installed. Replacement blades are sold separately.
To adjust the working angle, the blade can be installed on either the inside or outside of the frame.
